I wasn't quite sure about how I was feeling about this project leading up to the art show. I liked the clips I had chosen, and thought they were all really cool individually. I wasn't quite sure about how I was going to tie them all together, though, as some of them are pretty different in style from others.
Having such a unique location to present my project definitely was a huge factor in the final product. It felt like I just had the pieces and didn't know quite what to do with them, and then when I saw the waterfall area it all clicked into place. The waterfall area had so many cool surfaces and textures I could play with, and it even had a hand as part of the exhibit, which fit in perfectly with my project theme.
I wasn't as excited about this project before, but after setting it up it really did feel like it just came together perfectly. I was able to arrange my clips around the space in what I felt was such a cool way. Some of my clips also fit the existing structure so well. For example, in the top area with the little plant, I had a hand holding a flame that just fit perfectly with its triangular shape.
Though this project was frustrating at times with technological issues, I'm glad I stuck it out because I'm really proud of my final product. It was also super fun having the art show and seeing everyone else's pieces outside the classroom. It was a great night!
